In the heart of the Podișul Hârtibaciului, one of the most valuable and least explored natural regions of Romania, we created Asinii Transilvaniei with the desire to offer an authentic, slow and meaningful experience in the middle of nature.
Here, time does not rush. It settles.
We are located in a protected area that is part of two important natural sites – Natura 2000 and the Făgăraș Piedmont – a complex ecosystem where rare bird species live and where biodiversity remains alive, untouched by mass tourism.
We believe in slow tourism and eco-tourism. In authentic experiences. In journeys taken consciously, not in haste.
We organize guided mule rides for those who want to experience nature up close, carriage rides accessible to all ages, and locally prepared meals available by reservation only, because we respect the rhythm of the place and of the people who live here.
The Podișul Hârtibaciului also represents an important cultural heritage: Saxon villages, fortified churches and ancient citadels that tell stories hundreds of years old. All of these are part of the experience we offer.
